Casey Bradford writes her stories surrounded by sticky notes containing half thought-out plot points and snippets of dialogue that will be needed for later scenes. She can be found hunched over her desk late at night, scribbling away to whatever songs have caught her fancy that day, and pretending not to pay attention to the clock. She often laments her characters’ lack of cooperation in the writing process, but nevertheless enjoys getting to know them as the story unfolds.

When she’s not writing, she can be found getting slurpees and taking drives, or spending time with her family. She is usually knee-deep in planning a trip, realistic or not, and has a long list of world destinations she would like to visit! She is currently an undergraduate university student, and one day hopes to have a ‘real’ job that involves cows.

In 2020, she was shortlisted for the Braun Book Award, and was able to publish the novel Such a Time as This shortly afterward.
